Better Your Balance

Occurring more frequently with increasing age, falls are Australia’s leading cause of injury hospitalisation and death.. 

In this workshop Rosie Stoneham will explore why this happens and various ways you can take charge of improving your own ability to balance. Practising techniques borrowed from yoga, pilates & strength training that you can easily integrate into your daily activities, you will walk away with the tools to start your journey towards a better balance. 

When Rosie reached the age of 50 she noticed how, seemingly overnight, her balance had deteriorated! A yoga teacher came to town and she took up weekly yoga classes. Her balance, along with other aspects of her health & happiness improved greatly. Rosie caught the yoga bug and wanting to ensure that she would always have access to the benefits yoga offers, she subsequently completed a 200hr yoga teacher training course.

Participant Needs: Requirements supplied. Studio a no shoe zone. For any fitness or mobility level.
