COMMITTEE

I grew up in Adelaide in a family of five girls. At nineteen I went overseas and stayed awy for seventeen years. When I returned to Adelaide I went to university and became a business studies teacher. I went to Hamilton in Victoria and taught for eight years, before deciding I wanted to be closer to family. Back in Adelaide I studied for a Master’s Information Management (School Librarian). At first I could get only contract work, so I taught in Kingscote, Burra and Gladstone. I then got a permanent postition in the South East of South Australia and taught at Penola and Mt Gambier. After retirement I moved back to Adelaide and now live with my daughter, her husband and two grandchildren.
