DOUBLE WORKSHOP 1.30pm – 5pm
The Strathalbyn Woodshed started in 2004 as a council initiative in old metal storage shed overlooking the Soldiers Memorial Gardens, and was mainly for retired men. In 2018 they moved into their state of the art large new premises at 97A Milnes Road, with an excellent range of equipment, and now caters for both men and women. It is here, Ken will first demonstrate the range of woodworking equipment and then you will divide into pairs and be guided through a small hands on project using pre prepared materials. Closed footwear is a must. Bring along hearing and eye protection if you have it, although the Woodshed can provide it if necessary.
