DOUBLE WORKSHOP 11am – 3pm

Clayton Bay Foreshore Walking Trail and a cruise on the Oscar W.

Located on the River Murray opposite the north-east tip of Hindmarsh Island, the Clayton Bay community has recovered from the millennial drought and has been involved in community revegetation programs for the past 9 years. The foreshore walking trail showcases this as it gently meanders around the Clayton Bay Peninsula. Bring Binoculars. Wear closed in walking shoes.

Cruise the waters around Clayton Bay aboard the historic paddle steamer, the Oscar W, a steam driven wood fired authentic working paddle steamer built at Echuca, Victoria in 1908. The PS OSCAR ‘W’ is manned by the Friends of the Oscar W, a dedicated group of multi-skilled volunteers who maintain, operate and crew her.  Experience living history aboard this    historic vessel. Tour includes lunch at Clayton Bay.
