DOUBLE WORKSHOP 1.30pm – 5pm

Tolderol Game Reserve Wetlands is one of the premier bird-watching locations in South Australia. The constructed bays and channels support over 80 waterbird species including many migratory shorebird species that travel from Siberia and Japan each year between August and April. Located on the fringe of Lake Alexandrina, a Ramsar-listed wetland of international importance, the site is now supporting enough birds and species to meet the Ramsar criteria for migratory shorebirds on its own. The raised banks and levees provide some of the most accessible birdwatching spots in the state.

Bring Binoculars, sunscreen, bug off. Wear closed in walking shoes.

NOTE: No toilet facilities at Tolderol.

Finish the tour at Angas Plains Estate Winery, voted best small cellar door in Langhorne Creek wine region by Gourmet Wine Traveller Magazine. Taste wines and enjoy afternoon tea.
